When to start raw feeding my dog?

Raw feeding does not need to be gradually introduced, raw feeding can start straight away, you simply feed your dog their existing food and begin raw feeding the following morning.

A dogs diet should comprise of an 80/10/10 ratio; 80% meat, 10% bone, 10% offal. 5% Of the offal should be liver. This is known as a BARF diet (biologically appropriate raw food).

Raw dog food is fed at 2-3% of the ideal adult weight, puppy amounts are at the bottom of the page (this is just a guide as all dogs are different, some will need more and some will need less).

When switching to raw, we advise feeding plain tripe mince for a week. This helps your dog’s digestive system to adjust to the new diet.

Should I feed fruit & vegetables?

You can choose to feed vegetables also but this is preference and not essential for your dog as your dogs stomach is not designed for digesting vegetables, so they mostly pass through. By simply feeding an 80/10/10 ratio, your dog will be getting all the nutrients he/she needs.
